Over the last four years I have attended Ryerson Universities' Film Program. During that time I have been able to participate in many productions either as Cinematographer or as a part of the camera or lighting crew. Cinematography is my passion, so I have tried to learn as much as I could from my teachers as well as my peers.

I am really excited about being able to take part in the master class, not only because it is a chance to learn from the masters in the field, but also because it is a tremendous opportunity to interact with some of the best young cinematographers in the world. I am fully looking forward to two eye-opening and unforgettable weeks.

OBJECTIVE

I'm very interested in attending this Masterclass because this would be a great opportunity for me to meet people with the same ambitions, dreams, and aspirations as mine's, people from a domain in which these kind of meetings, where you get a chance to exchange experience, and learning new things & techniques while being part of a group, are absolutely necessary. I think this is a unique opportunity to get in contact with new ideas, ways of working, ways of seeing things, in a world in which the interaction of those ideas and the way they work together are vitals. I want to achieve a wide area of knowledge and know more about what does it mean "making a film" and I'm interested in every things and situations which can help me express myself throughout film.

English:
Twenty-five years ago I put my first foot into this world. Shortly thereaf-ter my second foot followed! In 1995, together with colleagues, I founded the CRAC Crew, whose début film Destinies written by life is well known. My first short film me&you was produced at the beginning of 2001. In addition to various awards, this film enabled me to secure a place at the renowned Zurich School of Art and Design, where I started my film studies in October 2001. I have made different short and experimental films, among which are ElevatorTV, which tells the story of a lift inhabitant, and The Lighthouse Keeper. I have mainly been involved in camerawork and lighting and I am do-ing my final diploma on cinematography. In addition I also develop elec-tronic aids, which help to make a cameraman's life easier.
