What doI expect from the Budapest Cinematography Masterclass.
First of all, Im expecting to have fun? as we all share something we are
passionate about: cinematography. I expect to find a great atmosphere where
we can learn from the experience of cinematographers like Vilmos Zsigmond
ASC and Elemér Ragályi HSC and also learn from working with each other as
we are all coming from different countries and backgrounds

My expectations about the masterclass, is learn about
how develope our personal style in cinematography. Hor
throw technic impose to reallity and achive 24 images
per second dreams on the screen.
Also I spect to learn how is working in the United
States. Specially how to work with big sets, with
lighting streets for a film at night. I think Mr.
Zigdmond is really experience and we can get a really
incredible feedback from him. First about the actitude
and compromise towards filmaking art, second technical
advise in a moment that we are developing our
knowledge of this art & science.
I expect Budapest Masterclass to mark a moment in my
life that will be with me during my whole career. I
expect Budapest Masterclass to became a feeling in all
of us, and that we are able to transmit this feeling
and this passion towards film to other people.

I expect that the Masterclass will expand my lighting technique by experimenting with a variety of light qualities and ways to approach lighting a certain scene. I would think that we would be working under a very critical eye to learn from our mistakes or to suggest how a job should have been done. I'd like to see how to light very challenging scenes such as a wide-open 'warehouse-like' space or a scene with extremely mixed lighting. Overall, I would like to obtain a better grasp on the position of a Director Of Photography and take-in as much as I can while I attend the Masterclass.

A few words of Budapest Cinematoraphy Masterclass:
It would be of great honor for me to participate in the Master Class, in respect to gathering new experiences, exchanging ideas and meeting colleagues from all over the world. While studying film and photography, film prevailed, for its interdisciplinarity and complexity. I am interested in how issues of cinematography and film are elaborated through your courses and workshops, as what new workmanships can I gain by working and communicating with my colleagues cinematographers.
