Benjamin B

Benjamin B is a media technologist, writer and media maker. He has an MS in media technology from MIT, and he has taught at MIT and USC.
Benjamin is the author of the book "Reflections, 21 Cinematographers at Work" published by the ASC Press.
He also wrote the manual for the Panavision Genesis camera.
Benjamin is European correspondent for the American Cinematographer magazine. He is consulting member of the AFC (association of French cinematographers), and the editor of the first 2 issues of the bi-media review "Lumieres" published by the AFC in pixels and ink.
Benjamin is about to launch a web site about filmmaking for professionals and students called the film book thefilmbook.com

Graduate in Philosophy and Letters, ULB, Brussels, where he read literature (German, English, Dutch, Spanish) and linguistics. Various study grants and prizes (Brussels, Tübingen, London, Oxford, Pisa).
Taught Contemporary English Literature at a Higher Institute for Interpreters, Brussels, and soon after moved to film education.

- Carried out international missions in the audiovisual field commissioned by the Belgian authorities.
