Hungarian DoP, graduated from the Hungarian Film Academy in 1990.
Shoot and produced several movie films, short features, documentaries, and commercials.
Founding Member and Member of Board for the Hungarian Society of Cinematographers (H.S.C.).
Graduated from the Garrett Brown Steadicam Workshop in Siena in 1989.
Finished DLA studies 2009.
Taught cinematography at the Hungarian Film Academy between 1996 and 2009.
Teaches cinematography at NOVUS Art School in Budapest since 2008.
Worked in Germany for several years after finishing the Hungarian Film Academy.
Worked also in a number of British, American, Swedish and Dutch productions.
Awards:
Best Cinematographer Prize at the Hungarian Festival of Cinematographers in 1992 for his short film „Quintola”
Grand Prize at the Hungarian Filmfestival in 1993 for his documentary on industrial city „Ozd” (d.: T. Almasi)
Best DoP title at the International Festival of Short Films in Héviz in 1996 for his „At the Edge of Worlds”
Best Documentary at the Hungarian Filmfestival in 1998, and on Camera Hungaria in 1999 for „Helpless” (d.: T.Almasi)
Bela Balazs National Award of Cinematograpy in 2004 for lifetime achievements as cinematographer and teacher at the Film Academy. 2004 Best Cinematographer in Golden Eye Cinematographer Festival was nominated for his film Legend of the sun
